ONE WORD

Choose...

So I guess there is an ingenious person named Ali Edwards that started the One Little Word project. She has some amazing ideas and items for sale on her website and although  I haven't purchased or signed up for any of her monthly subscriptions I have decided I would pick my little word for 2018.

After thinking intently, for quite some time, on picking the perfect word and having words like intention, faith, believe, hope, truth, love, passion, peace, all circle around in my thoughts the word, MY WORD, finally came to me.  It happened this morning when I was thinking about something that happened in my life a few years back that still causes me a great deal of sadness. Anyway the word that popped in my mind at the same time a tear was forming in my eye was CHOOSE.

So MY word for 2018 is CHOOSE.

I CHOOSE to love.
I CHOOSE to forgive.
I CHOOSE to believe,
I CHOOSE to have faith.
I CHOOSE to live my life with intention.
I CHOOSE to be true to myself.
I CHOOSE to be grateful in all circumstance.
I CHOOSE happiness over sadness.
I CHOOSE not to be defined by the past.

I am certain I will have to CHOOSE many more things in 2018 and for a person who actually has trouble with making decisions, because ironically there are too many choices to choose from, I am very excited about my 2018  little word.
